MODERN was inspired by the pop culture that surrounds us. The fascination over fairytale and anime character tropes brought about the first two episodes.
The intention is to poke fun at the tropes and translate them into a modern element, while keeping the childish and fun aspect.

This is a short film about gamer girls and children within the gaming community.
Children experience the gaming community differently. Grownups don't seem to understand that there may be a 7 year old behind the person they may be cussing out.

Tulip doesn't want their daughter to be a murderer, like Edgar. However, Edgar doesn't see what he does as murder.
Will love overcome different backgrounds and the way people grow up?
